The spoken texts of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.soillse.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/Saoghal-Thormoid-Synopses-and-Transcripts.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Saoghal Thormoid<\/a>, produced under the Soillse banner, were included in DASG shortly after their creation, but under a new initiative, thanks to Eilidh Cormack, all the Gaelic interviews of the original Guthan nan Eilean <a href=\"hhttps:\/\/www.northpost.co.uk\/uhi\/series-one\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Series One<\/a> have now been incorporated into the &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/dasg.ac.uk\/audio\/about\/crc\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cluas ri Claisneachd<\/a>&#8221; audio archive. This is the first time DASG have used video recordings in their archive. It&#8217;s meant quite a bit of extra work for them, as they have added same language subtitles to every video. So this offers another viewing and reading option to Island Voices viewers &#8211; you can now follow written transcripts directly on the video screen as an alternative to using our own Clilstore platform.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dasg.ac.uk\/audio\/browse\/gne\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-4295\" title=\"Browse the archive\" src=\"https:\/\/www.northpost.co.uk\/uhi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/dasgfaces.jpg?w=595\" alt=\"\" width=\"595\" height=\"230\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.northpost.co.uk\/uhi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/dasgfaces.jpg 772w, https:\/\/www.northpost.co.uk\/uhi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/dasgfaces-300x116.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.northpost.co.uk\/uhi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/dasgfaces-768x296.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 595px) 100vw, 595px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>You can browse the Island Voices material <a href=\"https:\/\/dasg.ac.uk\/audio\/browse\/gne\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>. So far, only Series One is currently available in DASG. However, agreement has been reached for all Series Two interviews to receive similar treatment in due course of time.
