Back in the swing of things after a good festive break, the Island Voices project has much to look forward to in 2013. We anticipate new linkages with partners around Europe who are involved in similar work. We will also maintain a critical eye on our own work through continued research<\/a>. But most important of all, we look forward to ever wider and deeper community participation at a local level here in the Hebrides. In 2012 it was really gratifying to see new community members starting up blogs, recording interviews, creating slideshows, or writing their own pieces of work \u2013 many of which have been shared on this site and in Am P\u00e0ipear.<\/p>\n And that\u2019s just the start! Once a post is online it\u2019s liable to be shared with friends and families through various social media networks. This simple \u201cNew Year Card\u201d on the Facebook page<\/a> has proved very popular \u2013 with well over 100% \u201cvirality\u201d…<\/p>\n As always, anyone interested in taking part in this project is welcome to get in touch.
